As my birthday comes closer, i really don't know what i'm going to do. I will be turning the big 2-1 and there are several things i could do. I'm most disappointed by the fact my best friend that shares the same birthday doesn't want to do anything with our group of friends. He is going to the river boat to gamble with his parents. what a geek! This also will be our last year for awhile to celebrate our birthday together b/c he is transferring to a school by Springfield, Mo. Most of our friends live here in the KC area. I guess I could go out with some of my co-workers, but I have a feeling my brother will try to kidnap me and take me everywhere I will be legal to go to. I just hope I will be able to make it to class the next day. B/c of course this semester i pick tues/thurs classes when my bday is on a wed. Oh well. If anybody reads this tell me what you think i should do for my 21th birthday.

I have thought long and hard about how the fandom to going to survive. It will survive b/c the whole gang of characters will always need conflict and who better to write about it than fanfic writers.The fandom i got started in was "Forever Knight" and it was strong and lasting until 2004, eight years after the show was taken off the air. It last awhile, but hasn't had much actio,. for fandom that didn't have a super fanbase like HP. The fandom as a whole will last for a long time, but the more direct ships will have problems. I will have the day when i will not have new HP/SS stories to read. It makes me sad to know that one day in the distance future like hopefully in 3 or 4 years there will be no more new HP/SS fanfic to read. But maybe i'm wrong and there will be a whole new generation that will want to experiment with the lovely potions master and boy who lived. we can only hope.
